½ cup blueberries, washed

1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced

Breastmilk/formula (optional)

  1. Place the apples in a saucepan. Cover the apples with water and heat over medium heat until the water begins to simmer. Allow the apples to simmer for about 8 minutes, or until tender. Drain off the water.
  2. Puree the apples. Lastly, add the blueberries, and puree again.
  3. Add breastmilk/formula, if desired, to achieve the appropriate consistency for your baby.
  4. Serve, once cooled, or freeze and serve later!
